For the 2021 New Balance x Joe Freshgoods collaboration, Mike was commissioned by Joe to direct the commercial, launching the campaign. The goal of this spot was to create something that resonated with Us showcased Chicago and our people in a beautiful & vibrant light. The west side of Chicago, of course is very important to JFG, but is also a big part of Mike's family lineage, so it was fun for him to really dig back into into that nostalgic summer feeling of spending time at his grandma's house and day camp, pre-smart phone times…fused with Joe's strong vision and brand DNA.
